Family-owned since 1947
The name FUSO comes from „Fuchs and Son“ and stands for the two company founders Johann Fuchs Snr. and his son Johann Fuchs Jnr. The two are the grandfather and great-grandfather of the successors and current company owners Andreas and Thomas Högn.
Foundation of FUSO in Waidhofen/Ybbs by Johann Fuchs Sen.
Manufacturing of the first plastic part (orange lid for Ovaltine cans).
The company becomes a limited company. Lotte Zizenbacher, daughter of Johann Fuchs Jnr., takes over the management.
Lotte Zizenbacher hands over the company to the fourth generation of the family, Andreas and Thomas Högn.
The company moves to its current location in Ybbsitz.
The site expands and the production area doubles to 1,500 m².
The production hall is extended by a further 50 % and the office is enlarged by 300 m².
The number of injection moulding machines is increases to 45. This means an enormous extension of capacity.
New production hall with approx. 1,000 m² is built and storage capacity is expanded.
FUSO turns 75 and continues to grow.
The new PV system is put into operation (228 kWp).
